Julianne and Billy
I loved the experience and outcome! The questionnaire was easy and remembering those events made this even more fun. I received my written vows quickly and with such thought- I cried when reading them! The vows written for me were beautifully said and tied in the right amount of humor and sincerity.

Buy your wedding vows with pride
XO Juliet is the premier wedding vow writing service, and we have written wedding vows for clients across the globe who know what they want to say about their partner, but just aren’t sure how to say it. Just like any vendor in the wedding planning process, XO Juliet takes the stress away from this crucial aspect of wedding planning. You tell us about your love story; we’ll put it on paper and craft the vows of your dreams.
You can feel comfortable sharing your love story with us. We welcome couples of all genders, races, religions, and sexual identities. Additionally, we uphold the values of self-identification and respect those who are non-binary, gender fluid, transgender, homosexual, bisexual, pansexual, atheistic, agnostic, or any other type of label you may place on yourself. (No worries though; we will not label you and will always follow your lead when it comes to how you identify and/or gender yourself and your partner when communicating with us.)
Restrictions do not belong here and heteronormativity has no home at XO Juliet HQ. We pride ourselves in our modern thinking, progressive mission, and desire to welcome and support humans from all walks of life.
We write more than wedding vows.
Alexis Dent is the founder of XO Juliet —a wordsmith who, quite simply, loves love. A professional poet and columnist, Alexis is no stranger to telling a great story — the perfect combination of Aphrodite (Goddess of Love) and Calliope (Goddess of Poetry). She received a bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Ithaca College and graduated magna cum laude at 20.
After working in corporate America for some time, her heart circled back to her first love: writing. Noticing a gap in the market — realizing many people had trouble communicating their authentic feelings of love — Alexis created what has now become a leading writing service in the industry. Having personally experienced both incredible love and devastating loss over the years, Alexis learned that whether experiencing the highest of highs or the lowest of lows, it can be difficult for many people to string the perfect words together to share how they really feel.
Whether it is a tear-jerking proposal, wedding vows that leave guests with goosebumps, or a eulogy worth putting in the history books, Alexis helps people navigate love and loss. As the XO Juliet tagline goes, “We put your love on paper.”

Is it weird to have someone else write my wedding vows, proposal, or speech?
We often work with clients who are incredibly nervous about their wedding vows, marriage proposal, wedding toast, or don’t know how to write a eulogy for a loved one. After all, these are big moments that you want to make special. Everything we do at XO Juliet is personal, so it’s not about just writing something generic and inauthentic — and we definitely don’t use any templates.
We listen to your love, process it, and then write a personal declaration of love that translates your adoration into words.
We are just the same as any other wedding vendor or special event service in the sense that we are here to turn these highly anticipated occasions into stress-free events that you can enjoy in the moment and remember forever. There is nothing wrong with seeking the assistance of a wedding vow writer, marriage proposal writer, wedding party speech writer, or eulogy writer. You are equipping yourself with the tools needed to be at ease during some of the biggest moments of your life. That’s pretty darn brave if you ask us.
